Being Helpful With The Wildcat Foundation

By Virginia Bailey

One of the greatest lies human society ever told itself was that of equality. Equality is not something that is just given unto the planet. The world itself can hardly be called equal. In every corner of the world, there will be those who rise above others. Not because they are better in terms of ability, but because they were given the opportunity to practice and train, thus developing competence better than someone who was never given similar opportunities. Then there are genetic freaks, people born with natural physical gifts that most other individuals could never hope to match or accomplish. But that inequality does not exist only in humans. It also exists in the facets of human society, in school districts. But where there is inequality, there is the Wildcat foundation.

The foundation is an institution of charity. In fact, it is recognized as such. This of course means that the donations made can be written come tax season, because they are apparently deductible.

And that help is their entire reason for existing. They are needed. Not every school is going to have the same level of funding. A school with more money is going to be able to educate its student better than one whose budget is in the red.

Now, the reason that such an organization is needed is simple. Because the ground on which students stand is uneven. This leads to those being born into privilege having better education and extracurricular activities than someone who was not born into similar circumstances. These circumstances will generally include the school itself, as some are better funded than others, which leads to the pupils at that particular institution being able to excel more than their counterparts at places with a little bit more struggle in their makeup.

Now, while it does provide extra funding to some schools, the real beneficiaries are the students. The programs that it pays for are going to go a long way to helping a child better develop into a fully formed person. This extra development may translate to a greater level of success later in life.

It offers help by using money. That is what makes the world go round. They collect donations to fill up their endowment. Then they empty their coffers to various schools who have projects that need funding that their budgets can no longer provide for.

People volunteer for various reasons. For some, it is a requirement, penance for some crime that they committed in the past. For others, it is public relations, a task that makes them look good towards other people. Then there are the legitimately virtuous, those who render their time and labor for free because they simply care so much about the cause they are working for.

Donations are the pipeline by which most charities are funded, and this is no different. Now, it should be noted that donations can be made in the memory of someone who has passed away, sort of like a tribute to the deceased. In any case, donations can also be helpful as soon as tax season rolls into town.

The world can be rather difficult to live in. But there are entities out there who seek to make it less so for everyone involved. But their job is a difficult one, and they may need some help themselves in order to make the world a better place.
